His practice explores the potentiality of the body to process and reveal the layered landscapes of the Filipino socio-political psyche,or even using choreography to counter political revisionism. Selected engagements include Re-Claim (Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm, Frankfurt), a world-premiere co-production; Frankfurt Moves! (Frankfurt LAB/KfW Stiftung); and Tokyo Festival Farm: Asian Performing Arts Camp.

BC. (Ayami Moriwaki) ー Kyoto, Stockholm, Hamamatsu(Japan)

Dancer/choreographer. Born in Hamamatsu, Japan.

Graduated from the Faculty of Science at Kyoto University.

During the pandemic, a body severed from society drifted toward the Kamo River, sensing daily life, I began dancing there.

I developed my practice in Sweden. Affected by city systems, I started a club in a place where urban transformation had been ongoing for years. It was difficult, and interesting.

I explore how the body enters a “state of dance,” and what terrain it stands on.

Hongchang XU ー Shanghai(China)

Born in 1994 in Canton, China, Hongchang XU  a research-based theatre practitioner. Most of his playwriting stems from the perspective of family histories, using a narrow entry point to explore how 20th-century totalitarian movements continue to impact personal lives today, while analyzing the predicaments and ways forward for individuals within them. On the other hand, as a dramaturg, he collaborates with various dancers and directors to address social issues in China through documentary theatre and dance theatre.

Marah Ghanayem ー Palestine

Marah Ghanayem (born 2001) is a Palestinian visual artist working primarily in sculpture and installation. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), with a focus on sculpture. Her practice explores the relationships between place, identity, language, and collective memory. Through archival research, field observation, and material experimentation, she examines how social and political transformations shape built environments and everyday objects. Working with wood, concrete, stone, and found materials, she creates sculptural works that question belonging, displacement, and the ways personal and collective histories are preserved or erased.

Razan Wirjosandjojo ー Solo, Surakarta (Indonesia)

Razan Wirjosandjojo is based in Solo, Indonesia. Working across dance, performance art, film, and photography, his practice approaches the body as a physical and temporal site, where movement becomes a conversation between organ and soul. He explores body practices that access qualities hidden or diminished within a culture of entertainment and spectacle. He is interested in working with the body more than as an image to be seen; he approaches it as a living, conscious presence carrying memory, sensation, and forms of knowledge.

Tai Chun Wai ー Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

Chun Wai (1992) is a Malaysian movement artist, percussionist, street artist (WaaiwaiiDrum), and arts educator.

His artistic journey began with 24 Festive Drums.

As a city-based artist, he seeks knowledge beyond the city and brings it back into dialogue with urban experiences. His practice often begins with bodily experience and observation, exploring sound, rhythm, the body, space, and improvisation.

He has toured across Asia, Europe, and Australia, and participated in international programmes including OneBeat Taiwan, Southeast Asian Choreolab, The Empathic Body, and Dance Now Asia 2026.
